Who we are

Rally (rally.komuco.com) is a social sports app operated by Komuco (Paul), based in Melbourne, Australia. It lets you browse upcoming social sport sessions and join games run by local organizers. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at paul@komuco.com.

What we collect

• Account information. When you sign in, our authentication provider shares your name and email address with us so we can identify you across sessions.
• Booking information. The sessions you join or cancel, so we can show your upcoming games, manage seat counts and let organizers know who is coming.
• Technical data. Standard web logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) collected by our hosting provider for security and performance.

How we use your information

• To operate the service: showing sessions, managing your bookings.
• To share your name with the organizer and other participants of a session you join (you appear in that session's participant list).
• To send transactional email — for example notifying an organizer when a booking is made or cancelled. We do not send marketing email.
• To keep the service secure and debug problems.

We do not sell your personal information.

Advertising and Google AdSense

Rally is free to use and supported by advertising. We use Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

• Authentication cookies set by our sign-in provider to keep you logged in.

Third-party services we rely on

• Authentication: Clerk (or Auth0), to sign you in securely.
• Hosting: Vercel, which serves the site and keeps standard access logs.
• Database: Neon (PostgreSQL), where booking data is stored.
• Email: Resend, for transactional notifications.
• Advertising: Google AdSense.

Each of these providers processes data under their own privacy policies and only as needed to provide their service to us.

Data retention and your rights

We keep your account and booking data while you use the service. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information at any time by emailing paul@komuco.com, and we will respond in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update this page and the date at the top. Major changes will be flagged on the site.
